Pratthanadee Foundation strives to create new economic opportunities for women and to offer guidance to young girls before they make the same decisions. We believe in empowering women to reach their potentials and to transform their lives for the better.

Operating in Ubon Ratchathani, runs 2 flagship training programs in high schools across the province:

1) Preparing for Success: The Guide to Life after School

This workshop gives girls a realistic viewpoint on the move to Bangkok, which may have been glamorized by those around them. They learn about the different options available in further education, training and employment and gain an understanding of different career paths available. At the end of the training the girls know how to plan their career path and work towards their desired job – whether they choose to stay in Ubon or migrate.

In addition,Pratthanadee Foundation was awarded the Mid-Sized Thai NGO of the Year in 2014 by the Resource Alliance and the Rockefeller Foundation in recognition of the quality and impact of its programs. (Then, the award was won under the former name of Goodwill Group Foundation)
