Ashtanga Samasthiti by Lullaby Yoga is the newest yoga studio in Thonglor. Located at the newly opened Grande Centre Point (between Thonglor 8 and 10)
Ashtanga Yoga originates from Mysore, India. It is a series of structured asana (yoga poses) where the student but be able to practice each posture sequentially, without skipping. It’s a way to see your improvement through practicing the same poses for a long time. When practicing Ashtanga yoga, not only would we gain physical strength but we would gain balance through breath and moving meditation.
Drop by to keep your yoga routine or stretch your body to find more balance. We offers Ashtanga yoga sessions by qualified teachers, led by seasoned teacher Nawarat Teeraprasert (level 2 authorised teacher from KPJAYI).
Additionally, we offer a variety of classes for you to choose from:
Mysore class provides an opportunity for students to develop a “Self practice,” which is an integral part of the Ashtanga system. Students work independently on the particular series of postures that is most appropriate for them. The teacher assists, adjusts and may quietly discuss particular difficulties or concerns with individual students during class.
In a Led Primary Series class, the teacher calls out the postures and Vinyasa (counted movements linking the postures with the breath) of the Ashtanga Primary Series.The group moves and breathes together in sync. These are focused, highly energetic classes and recommended for experienced students. Led Primary is great for student to review vinyasa count as well as learn to refine your practice in traditional method.
Set sequence designed by Matthew Sweeney which is energetically counter balance the totally body on the Monday.
4.Yin Yoga (Hip, Spine):
As a practice by itself or a nice compliment to Vinyasa, Yin emphasizes release as a mean of moving deeper into poses without the muscular engagement of other forms of yoga. Penetrating deeper than the muscles this very internal practice brings release to the soft tissues of the body while removing the vacillations of the mind. Relax, release, and let go of everything that keeps you from your true self. Suitable for all levels of practitioners.
Suitable for beginner which will learn from components of vinyasa, correct breathing, basic alignment and right vinyasa in primary series.
