LEARN TO TALK COFFEE!

Whether you are a coffee enthusiast or just a coffee admirer, this 3-hr intensive (but fun!) coffee workshop will teach you how to taste coffee like a pro! (all beginners welcome :))

Experience the world of coffee with the master of drip coffee, Sutida (Nan) Srirungtum, the Champion of 2016 National Brewer's Cup.

In this workshop, you will learn:

* The Essence of Coffee: Learn about coffee origin, coffee plant, beans, processing and varietals

* The Process: What does it take to create a perfect cup of coffee? Here, we will learn the interesting process from bean to cup! As well as learn how the soil of the plantation or even the coffee processing affect the taste of each coffee.

* The 5 Senses of Coffee: Explore and experience the dimension of specialty coffee via the 5 senses (sight, smell, taste, hearing, touch). Get to know unique characteristics of specialty coffee as we play games to test your senses! We will deep dive & learn how the masters evaluate great coffee. We will get to know different aromas and flavors of coffee as well as learn about the cupping scores and the flavor wheel.

* The Cupping Method: The fun part of the workshop: taste different varieties of coffee and open up your taste buds! You will be presented with 4 different type of single-origin coffee so you can identify the coffees' unique Aroma, Acidity, Sweetness, Body & Aftertaste. See what type of coffee you prefer! Find out how your interpretation of the taste and smell of each coffee we have carefully selected are interestingly different from other people's.

* A Surprise Gift from Socialgiver & Sutdrip! : We will prepare one of the best specialty coffee for you to taste that will open your eyes to the world of coffee!

Because we all have different perception of what's considered as good coffee, there is simply no right and wrong. So let's have some tastings and share your experience together!

The workshop is open to all coffee lovers - suitable for someone very new to coffee and wants to explore!

The workshop will be conducted in Thai only

***Please avoid using hand cream with strong scent or perfume on the workshop day. We want to keep your coffee tasting experience as pure and uninterrupted as possible.***

Nan Sutida is the Champion of 2016 National Brewer's Cup. She is the owner of Sutdrip Coffee Shop on Phaholyothin soi 2 and a coffee Columnist for Coffee T&I Magazine.
